There is nothing to fear other than fear itself!

A lot of people have been taught that running a business is risky and that the safe thing to do was to go out and get a job and have a career.

As previously mentioned this is outdated mode of thinking as many people have discovered over the past few years to their dismay that there is nothing safe about having a job.

These days very few people have any kind of job security as a company can cut you lose at any time.

And once a person has lost their source of income, they haven’t the finances to start anything.

And if you end up on benefits it’s a struggle to pick yourself up from there.

I regularly meet people who are in this position, desperate to try and get out of their predicament.

Many have said they regret not starting their own business when they were working and had the money to start a something now they are effectively at a dead end.

Some people love to say Money isn’t everything, but as the sales expert zig ziggler once said it ranks right up there with oxygen. It’s pretty important.

Life is short and you don’t want to go through life worrying about not having enough money to do the things you would like to do.

An increasing number of people are realizing that the real risk comes from actually not starting their own business, taking control, not at some distant time in the future but today right now!

In the past if you were made redundant a couple of times, it would be thought of as tough luck.

However, recent studies have shown that going forward a person is likely to be made redundant some seven or eight times in their career.

And each time you apply for a new job it will be increasingly difficult to land one.

To add insult to injury recent reports show that one in three UK jobs are at ‘high risk’ of being replaced by, wait for it, machines and robots in the future.

With the lowest paid workers most at risk of being replaced.

Clerical and support roles are endangered, with the lot of this work being outsourced to the Far East.

And you think this notion is a little farfetched just speak to anyone who has previous worked on a production line in the motor industry.

The robots are coming!

The thought that “having a corporate job is safe” is a thing of the past.

Now, unless you are the person in charge, you are in jeopardy.

Now you have a choice, you can continue to read these newsletters or you can come along to our workshop and realise your true potential.
